FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

 

 

1. Does downloading the app have any cost?

 

The app is free both for visits and for members and owners. You can download it from our link in the Home.

 

2. I want AVANTI to be installed in my neighborhood, but we already have different access control hardware. Can both be used together?

Yes. AVANTI offers you a solution to be able to integrate both different hardware. There is an extra cost associated with integrations.

 

3. How much does it cost to install the Avanti system?

 

Installation and cost varies according to the size of the neighborhood or establishment. AVANTI charges a monthly fee for the use of its platform.

 

4. Why is it faster than other systems?

 

Because you register only once, and then you do not have to repeat your ID, registration, car insurance details in each neighborhood or any AVANTI community establishment that you visit. This data is completed only once, and once validated, it is encrypted so that it can be used to access AVANTI establishments. In addition, the QR code contains not only your data, but the owner's authorization information and the map to their unit, which eliminates manual processes.

VISITS

1. How do I enter a neighborhood or office building with the Avanti application?

To be able to access on your own, with your app QR code, you must:

1) receive a Pass from an resident or member, through the mobile application.

2) validate your identity, on your first visit, showing your ID at the gate of entrance of the neighborhood you are going to visit.

You can "request invitation" only to those who are Avanti Members, from your contacts.

 

2. Can I enter through the automatic barrier of owners with my QR code?

 

Each building or community grants different permits to its visits according to the Type of Invitation. You should check at the door of the building you visit and / or pay attention to outdoor signs.

 

3. What if I couldn't download the application to my phone, but my friend sent me the notice that I have a pending invitation via WhatsApp?

 

The guard or reception at each building will carry out an identity check by reading your ID, so that your data is already pre-validated. If an owner has authorized your entry through the application, the system will notify them that you have been granted permission to access, without the need to call them.

4. What are PASSES for in the AVANTI application?

They are used to enter a neighborhood more quickly, by scanning the QR code, which the application enables once you have entered your 4-digit identification code.

 

5. At what point does the owner find out that I have arrived at his gate?

Our app notifies the owner or member once you have been granted access, in real time, through a push notification.

 

6. Why do I have to enter a 4-digit code to show me the QR pass?

 

Each pass is unique and has a duration. To avoid its misuse and ensure that this pass is used only by authorized persons, we require the Identification Pin upon entry.

FOR MEMBERS AND RESIDENTS

 

1. How can I invite people from the app to my neighborhood or office building?

 

You first need to be registered as a Member from the Administration or through the extension of a Member, who is already registered in your batch. Once you have been registered as a Member, you will be able to access the premium version of Avanti that will contain the My Home icon on its main screen and from there send Invitations. In order to see how the owners app version is, you can enter this link.

 

2. How do I enter my neighborhood, company or establishment with the Avanti app?

 

Avanti eliminates the use of cards, and replaces accesses through QR technology within its mobile application. The app supplies a key called “QuickPass” that enables a QR code to enter members or owners, which is scanned upon entry and opens the barrier automatically.

 

3. If I don't have a battery in my phone and I don't have the app downloaded, how can I enter the neighborhood?

 

You should verify, with the guard of your neighborhood or establishment, the available options. AVANTI is working to streamline access by maintaining all current security measures.

 

4. I live or work in a building with Avanti, but I don't see the Members Home in the application (the one with the circles). How do I get that version?

 

Owners or members are granted permision by the Admin of the building, through Avanti Web Admin module.  You can request permision to a admin or request permision to another member of your unit which has been previously o Other Members where they can add you to that batch. There is a maximum of extensions that can be given by owner or member, according to the neighborhood or establishment. The best option, however, is to talk to the Administration to get you registered.

 

5. Why, when I create an Event invitation, does it ask for the maximum number of guests?

 

Because many neighborhoods require the hiring of more security personnel, if you organize an event of more than 100 people.

 

6. Is there a limit of frequent guests I can create?

 

The Administrators of your establishment determine the number of frequent guests that each Member can have, and also define what Permissions to grant to these types of recurring guests.
